Todo inicia para los a\u00f1os setenta, exist\u00edan dos casas de maderas que la junta de acci\u00f3n comunal del barrio nueva Colombia en cabeza de su presidente del momento el se\u00f1or FERNANDO MEZA y EPIFANIO CASSIANI como fiscal hacen la propuesta a la comunidad del sector de comprar las dos casas se hicieron las gestiones y se consiguieron los recursos y se logr\u00f3 el objetivo.<\/p><p>En ese predio ya de la comunidad un sacerdote llegaba al barrio a dar sus eucarist\u00edas dominicales, ya que anteriormente las hac\u00eda en casa del se\u00f1or FELIPE HERNANDEZ hoy y siempre vecino de la instituci\u00f3n. Posteriormente el club de leones internacional monarca se interes\u00f3 por los terrenos presentando una propuesta a la junta de acci\u00f3n comunal de construir algo ben\u00e9fico y servicial en favor de los habitantes del barrio nueva Colombia y su periferia . Inicial mente en mesas de trabajo se propuso la construcci\u00f3n de una escuela y un puesto de salud. la junta dio el aval y se construy\u00f3.la escuela arranca con el nombre de los CACHORROS brindando los servicios de jard\u00edn y transici\u00f3n . Cabe destacar que los \u00fatiles y materiales pedag\u00f3gicos eran entregados gratuitamente a los ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as y docentes por parte del club de leones.
